..Man, bits and pieces of storms for sure. I have 20 tabs open in Safari looking at snow reports this morning…Taos Ski Valley comes in with 16″ new in 24hrs and 2 feet in 5 days.–Nice work Sangres. Too bad there’s not a tram going up Blanca Peak. They should fire up the chairlifts at Cuchara today just because!

Powderhound – Aspen could get some snow Sunday/Monday, then it looks pretty dry through the week. Maybe some light snow later in the week, though.

Watching and Waiting – Vail did get a few inches every day since midweek and the skiing was actually pretty soft and enjoyable. But they won’t be the big winner from this storm.

Tanman – I don’t see any big changes for Abasin over the next week. Still looks pretty dry, and the snowpack in that area is well below average (~50%).

Skied 4-5 inches of new on Hahns Pk in north routt county on saturday afternoon. Skied deeper with systems dropping some over the work week. At least it ain’t just a skiff.

Great site – Do you foresee any hope for A-basin this over the next few days? I don’t think I’ve ever seen so little snowpack this late in the season up there (only 40% open). I’m hoping for a miracle!

nws just up’d their forecast for the monarch area tommorow. it was 4″ – 8″, now its 6″ – 10″. hey MS, ill see you on the cat tommorow. hey prodigal son, mirkwood is still soft and gettin deeper by the moment. joel, keep up the great work.

Prodigal Sun – Monarch could be good on Monday, but still somewhat uncertain…might be a “luck of the draw” type of thing in the central mountains between Monarch/Crested Butte/Aspen areas. Best bets are Wolf Creek (again) and the Sangres.

MS – could be some snow for Monarch on Saturday and Saturday night, but the best snow looks like from Sunday morning through Sunday night.
